Josephine M. Jacobs
Josephine "Marie" Jacobs, 74 of Weedsport died Monday in Providence, RI at the home of her daughter, Pamela. Born in Orillia, Ont., Canada she was a Mohawk of Akwesasne.
Surviving are three sons; Ronald and Abraham Jacobs and William Marshall, three daughters; Patricia Rigdon, Pamela Carroll and Rebecca Gonyeau, three brothers; Donald, Mitchell and Mark Jacobs, two sisters; Lenora David and Deborah Dougherty, 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Friday 10:00 am – 12:00 pm with services to follow immediately at 12:00 pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
