Joseph Uhrik, 93, of Mattydale, passed away peacefully with his family by his side. He served in the Army from 1943-1946, was a 45 year employee at Crouse Hinds as a Tool and Die Maker, and a member of the Centerville 185 Masons Chapter. He loved music, cars, and visiting with his friends.
He is predeceased by his wife. Mary Uhrik, of 62 years.
He is survived by a daughter, Susan Coffin of Liverpool; a son, John Uhrik of Central Square; three grandchildren, Brian and Becky Coffin and Sarah (Dave Britt); three great grandchildren, Addison, Alyssa and Aaron.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. Services will follow at 7PM. Spring burial will take place at Hillside Cemetery, Central Square.
Contributions in lieu of flowers can be made to the VA Medical Center, Syracuse, NY.
