Joseph Tortorello, 78, of North Syracuse, passed away Monday, at his home with his family by his side. Joe retired from Crouse Hinds Co. after 44 years. Joe was an avid sportsman, a member of the South Shore Rod & Gun Club, Member of the American Legion and was a veteran of the Korean War. He is predeceased by a brother, Luke Tortorello.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Elizabeth "Malone"; sons, Joseph P. (Annette) Tortorello, Kenneth R. (Maria) Tortorello; daughter, Melanie (Jonathan) Holmes; a brother, Lawrence (Beverly) Tortorello; a sister-in-law Virginia Tortorello. 7 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Saturday, 10 AM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery. Friends can visit with his family on Friday from 4-7PM at the funeral home.
