Joseph R. Paz, 65, of North Syracuse, passed away on Wednesday at home surrounded by those who love him. Born in Havana, Cuba, Joe and his parents came to the U.S. and settled in NJ when Joe was 12. During his lifetime, he proudly served his country in the Air Force and was employed at Bell South, NEC, and IRR Supply.
Left to cherish him forever is his "sweetheart" of 16 years , Terry Tracy, his son's Manuel (Melissa) Paz, John (Jennifer) Tracy; his daughter's, Shannon (James) Vavonese, Keely (Brian) Parker, and Ryan Tracy; and his two best friends, Thomas J Ward, and John Tracy Sr.
Joe's "little loves" who know him as "Abuelo" and "My Joey", were his 8 grandchildren, Julia, Ella, Brian, Camren, Emma, Johnny, Leigha and Sophia.
Calling hours will be Friday from 4-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will follow at 7PM.
