Joseph Thomas Piotrowski, 80, of Syracuse, NY, passed away on April 9, 2024, in Syracuse, NY.
He was born on July 3, 1943, in Syracuse, NY.
Joseph retired from General Motors where he worked as a fork-lift operator.
He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, such as a relaxing day by the lake or a Syracuse Mets game with a hot dog and a beer.
In his younger days, he loved hunting and fishing.
Joseph was known for his love of collecting things, ballgames, lake days, fireworks, target shooting, a cold beer, and a Friday fish fry.
He was a generous soul, supporting many animal and military service-related charities.
Joseph is survived by his daughters, Heidi Buckman (Jeff) and Jacquelyn Koslowsky (Dave), and grandchildren Brittney Kelley (Brad), Caitlyn Buckman (Evan), Reese Kelley, Noah Ackerman, and Emma Koslowsky.
He was preceded in death by his daughters, Lorri Kelley (2024) and Patrice Ackerman (2020).
A service for Joseph will be held on Tuesday, April 16th, from 4 to 7 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals 705 N. Main St, North Syracuse. A service will follow at 7 PM.
