Joseph L. Parker, Sr. , 70, of Nedrow, went home on Tuesday surrounded by his family.
Joe played semi-pro football for years and later coached.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. Joe was the youngest of 3 boys.
He was predeceased by his parents, Ella and Jerry Parker and 2 brothers, Floyd and Robert.
Joe is survived by his wife and best friend of 20 years, Evette; sister-in-law, Annie L. Parker; eleven children, Tammy, Jerry, Joseph L. Parker, Jr.,, Robert, Breeia, Jeane, Kiara, Damian, Solomon, Ella and Tiara; many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will Monday 4-6PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse with a service to follow at 6PM.
