Joseph Roger Kristof

It is with great sadness that the family of Joseph Roger Kristof announce his passing, after a brief illness, on June 7,2021 at the age of 79. Joe will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 47 years, Connie Hickling-Kristof and his children Pamela (Erich) Heath-Weber, Chad Heath and Annie (Bob) Kristof. He will also be remembered by his grandchildren Devin (Candace) O'Neil and Connor (Makayla) Nalepa; his mother in law Dolores Kramer; brother in law Donnie (Patty) Hickling; his brothers Wally (Phyllis) and Richard (Tracy) and sisters Renee (Bill) and Cindy (John); several nieces and nephews and great grandchild, Coltin. Joe was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Marion and his brothers Tom and Jim.

Joe retired from Universal Instruments in Binghamton after 30 years. In his younger days he enjoyed traveling the world, mountain & ice climbing and practicing Karate. As he grew older he still enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family, especially his beloved wife Connie. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his knack of always having an extra candle holder (or twelve), his love of all things sweet and his extraordinary will and ability to finish any task to absolute perfection. You will literally never find another person more organized than he was. Joe was there for the birth of his first grandchild, Devin and he took great pride watching him grow into the man that he is today. Mostly Joe will be remembered for the love he had for his family.

The family will have a private memorial service at a later time to celebrate Joe's life.
