March 19, 1925 — December 28, 2022
Joseph W. Jaros, 97, of East Syracuse, NY and Zephyrhills, FL, passed away on December 28, 2022. He was born in Syracuse, NY to the late Mary and Stanley Jarosz. Joseph was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in World War II. He worked as an Operating Engineer for many years. Joseph loved retirement and spending his winters in Zephyrhills, FL. He adored his dog, Penny. He was also an avid NY Yankee fan.
Joseph was predeceased by his grandson, David P. Hundshamer and son-in-law, John Hepp.
He is survived by his wife of 75 years, Jean (Bliss); children, Michael Jaros, Brenda (Dan) Chirinos and Linda Hepp; grandchildren, Trisha Hundshamer, Christopher Chirinos and Jennifer (Shawn) Ranger and great-granddaughter, Amber Hundshamer.
No services will be held.
