Joseph J. Nosko Jr., 60, of Clay passed away unexpectedly on April 26, 2016 from heart failure. Joe is survived by his wife of 35 years, LuAnn Nosko; his two children Nick Nosko (Brynne) and Lindsay Campbell (Derek); two grand-children Leah and Lukas Nosko; and two sisters Donna Thompson and Regina Stoltzfus (Tom). Joe was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Jean Nosko.
Joe grew up in Boothwyn, PA. He graduated from Garnet Valley high school in 1973. After high school he attended Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania where he received a bachelor's degree and played football and baseball. Joe worked as a District Manager at Hills Department Store and OfficeMax for a total of 36 years.
Joe enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, playing a lot of golf, fishing, hunting, and boating. He was known for his big heart, great sense of humor, and his well thought out "pranks".
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 30 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Trinity Assembly of God Church, 4398 State Route 31 Clay, NY 13041 followed by a memorial service at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Trinity Assembly of God, 4398 State Route 31 Clay, NY 13041.
