Joseph P. (Joey) Fay, of N. Syracuse, passed away unexpectedly on June 29th, 2018. Most of those who knew Joe will remember him for being there for those in need at a moment's notice. He also deeply cared for animals like Morty, a stray cat that Joe would feed and care for, an abandoned rabbit that he took in and named Rippers, and their beloved dog Eddie that he and his family took in from an abused situation. Eddie brought the family more joy than anyone could imagine up until Eddie's recent unfortunate passing.
Joe was employed for the past 15 years at Sutton Real Estate and was considered a hardworking dependable employee.
Joe is survived by his wife Kristine, son Mikey, daughter Hannah, mother Marsha (Chris), father Patrick (Sharon) and several aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and co-workers. Those who knew Joe will miss him and his smile dearly as he was one of the most generous and thoughtful people who would sacrifice it all to make a difference. Joe deeply loved his family and everyone who was a part of his life.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with services to follow.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hope for Bereaved at hopeforbereaved.com or to a no-kill animal shelter of your choice.
