Joseph F. "Joe" Milazzo, 73, of Syracuse, passed away on Sunday at his home. He was born November 7, 1937 in Syracuse. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He retired from Syracuse DPW in 1992. He was married to Lorraine Grandinetti for 45 years. He loved his grand sons and great grandson.
Survivors are his wife, Lorraine, daughter Toni Lynn (Lee) Doupe, son Frank, three grandsons, Mike (Sarah), Patrick, Aric and one great grandson, Orion Sherlock, two brothers, Lawrence and Robert Milazzo along with several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Fortunato and Margaret and one brother, Neil.
Services will be held on Thursday 6pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main, N. Syracuse.
Calling hours will be held 4-6pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Toys for Tots.
