Joseph "Joey" Wenger, age 71, of Syracuse passed away Sunday at Crouse Hospital. Born in Albany, NY, he was employed by the Syracuse Developmental Center for many years. Joey was an avid Yankee fan.
He was predeceased by his parents Morris and Naurine Wenger, and a sister Patricia Wenger.
He is survived by his brother James Wenger of Cicero, and sisters Margaret Proctor and Mary Jane Popek of Pittsburg and Betty Lou Sachs of California.
Graveside services will be private at a later date in Albany, NY.
