Joseph Dennis Lampasona, 81, of North Syracuse, passed away Tuesday. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was a WWII Army Veteran. Joseph was a Sr. Crew Chief for American Airlines, retiring in 1983 after thirty five years of service. He was predeceased by his wife, Pilar in 2008.
He is survived by his daughters, Linda (Mark) Quilter, Karen (James) Solak; son, Joseph Lampasona Jr.; grandchildren, Sean, Erin, Kerry Quilter, Katy Quilter-Carr and Frederick Carr, Taylor, Morgan and Josh Solak and Joseph Lampasona III, Vincent Lampasona; and great grandchild, Cameron Quilter.
Services will be Saturday 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be Friday from 4-7 p.m. at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
