Joseph John D'Angelo

Joseph D'Angelo, 82, of Kirkville, passed away April 15, 2018. Joe was born in Silver Creek, New York on August 26, 1935 to the late Charles and Louise D'Angelo.

Joseph retired from Ralston- Purina in 1984. In 1993, Joseph was inducted into the Western NY Softball Hall of Fame, and was known throughout Western New York as a high school referee. He was also very active in adult recreational sports leagues. Joe taught his four grandchildren and children the art of poker. He will be sorely missed by his beloved family and in particular his cat Oreo.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Carol D'Angelo; two daughters, Kathy (Andy) Beardslee, Sue (Jim) Baxter; and a son, Tony Ciccarino; 4 grandchildren; a brother, Charles D'Angelo; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family and friends may call on Friday, from 5-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse, NY where funeral services will be held at 7pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Madison County Meals on Wheels.
