Joseph D. Cooper

Joseph D. Cooper, 55 of Syracuse, NY, passed away on March 8, 2025. He was born in Syracuse, NY on February 17, 1970 to Royal and Cathy Cooper.

 He was a self-taught musician, charismatic, stubborn and was the most “realist” person that everyone wanted to meet.

 He is survived by his son and daughter; mother, Cathy; sister, Mary (Deuce) Mangine; nephew, Antonio Mangine, niece, Nina Mangine and aunts, uncles and cousins.

 Predeceased by his grandparents, Robert and Edith Lucia.

 A special thank you to Chrissy Dery, his best friend for over 40 years. Close friends, Jeff “Dice” Disinger, James P. Voytko, Jason Dudzinski, John Miller, Kathy “Sunshine” Hughes and his dogs, Lunchbox and Juicer.

 Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 1-3pm. Sharing of Memories will follow.
