Joseph C. Solar, 45, of Syracuse, passed away on Wednesday.
He was a member of the Turtle Clan in the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe.
Joe attended Sacred Heart School and graduated from Massena High School in 1988. He went on to graduate from SUNY Oswego in 1999 with a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy, Psychology and Communications. Joe was a member of Phi Theta Kappa at Onondaga Community College in 2015.
He is predeceased by his grandparents, Joseph and Anna Solar and his Mother, Marsha Watson.
Joe is survived by his sister, Debbie (Bobbi) Watson of Crown Point, NY and numerous cousins in New York and Kentucky.
Services will be held in the future and will be private for the family.
Donations in memory of Joe may be made to the American Red Cross.
