Jose Faria

Jose "Joe" Faria, 84, passed away September 12, 2021. A long-time Mattydale resident, Jose grew up in Ogdensburg, NY. He retired from Carrier in 1999 and was a proud 35-year member of The
Sheetmetal Workers Union Local 527. He was a loving father and grandfather with seemingly boundless energy who could repair anything.

He was predeceased by his first grandchild, Bobby Conklin in 2005.
Jose is survived by his two daughters, Brenda Dano (Tim) of Mattydale and Annette Conklin (Bob) of Baldwinsville; his three grandchildren, Colin Conklin, Madison Dano and Molly Dano; sister, Myrtle Prefume of Syracuse and brother, Floyd Faria of Holly Hill, Florida; many nieces and nephews and his beloved cat, Missy Boo Boo.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 16th 4-6PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Humane Society of CNY.
