Johnnie Gray, 81, of Syracuse, passed away on Monday September 11, 2023 at St. Joseph's Hospital surrounded by loving family. Johnnie was born in Letohatchee, Alabama on September 7, 1942 son of the late James and Mamie Gray. Johnnie retired from Millers Brewing Co. in Auburn. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling and was a die-hard Redskins Fan. Johnnie was a devoted father and grandfather, he loved spending time riding on his motorcycle and being with his family.

Johnnie was predeceased by his 3 sisters, Fannie, Rosie and Maggie.

He is survived by his 3 daughters, Jeannine Gray, Kimberly Gray, Maria Russell, 6 grandchildren, Quashawn, Robert, Maya, Saadiq, Teresha, Tyler, 4 great grandchildren, Quavyon, Romiaah, Joziah, Aurora, his brother, Roosevelt Gray, his aunt, Diane, and close friend, "Bo", along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday September 22nd from 10-11am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with services at 11am. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. To view a livestream of the service please Click here
