John D. Wilkins Sr.
May 1, 1953 — February 24, 2017
John D. Wilkins Sr., 63 of Syracuse, passed away after a long courageous battle from cancer.
He loved his grandchildren, hunting, fishing and traveling, especially Lake Placid in the Adirondacks.
Survivors include his children, John Wilkins Jr., David Wilkins Sr., Kristopher Wilkins and Doris Wilkins-Wilt; grandchildren, John, Sierra, Marisa, Matiah, Brandy, Leanna, David, Alexzander, Joseph, Logan, Dominick, Meadow, Mae Lynn, Emma, Pamela and Samuel, great-grandchildren; John, Alanna, Layla, Marcos, Zachariah, Brendan and Sabastian six brothers, Edward, Robert, Kenneth, Timothy, Thomas and Peter. Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Predeceased by his parents, Edward and Doris Wilkins and three brothers and a sister.
Calling hours will take place at New Comer Funeral Home on Wednesday 4-7PM.
Interment Thursday 11AM at St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
