John R. Ventura, Jr.

John R. Ventura, Jr. 46, of Bridgeport, passed away at home December 18th, after a brief illness. John spent his lifetime in Syracuse, growing up on the northside and attending Nottingham High School. He married Kelly (Dieni) Ventura on September 24, 2005.

As a self-employed mason and contractor, he took great pride in his hard work. Being a friend of Bill's, John's life mission was to connect with and help others through the program. Above all, he was an honest and loving man who will be missed dearly by many.

John is predeceased by his father, John R. Ventura, Sr., and stepfather, George Sylvester. John is survived by his beloved wife, Kelly; his mother, Lynn Sylvester; sister, Jessica DiFonzo; three children, Johnny, Raena and Adriel; and stepson, Shawn.

His family invites friends to celebrate his life at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse from 4:00pm - 7:00pm on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 with services at 7pm.
