November 14, 1943 — February 18, 2019
John H. Stephens, 75, of Clay, NY, went home to be with Jesus.
He was born and raised in Nucla, CO and was an avid Bronco fan. John served in the US Air Force and shared his passion for planes and skydiving with his family. He was part owner of Industrial Air Compressor Sales & Service. John was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
He was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Ruth; daughter, Audra and brother, Gordon.
John is survived by his devoted, loving wife of 48 years, Carolyn; son, Eric and Kristy Brilbeck; grandchildren, Dylan, Parker and Julianna; brothers, Howard (Caren) and Neal (Becky) and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, March 3rd 1-4pm with services following at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made for dementia research to Columbia University/Taub Institute.
