John "Jack" Smith, 70 of Syracuse passed away peacefully after a long illness.
Born in Elmira, NY to Richard and Alliena (Thielman) Smith. He is predeceased by his wife, Linda (Machuga) Smith.
Survivors include his son, Daniel (Martha) Smith and daughter, Julie (Ronald) Williams; grandchildren, Aaron, Nathan and Hannah Smith.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, 8:30AM at Our Lady of Pompei Church, Syracuse.
Interment will follow at St. Agnes Cemetery, Syracuse.
