John R. Sherman, 71, of Syracuse, passed away on Thursday at Bishop Rehab. John was born in Lockport, NY on December 11, 1949. John retired from Karl's Auto in Syracuse. John always enjoyed being outside especially at his camp. He was an avid NASCAR Fan and he enjoyed hunting.
He is survived by spouse, Faye, daughter, Gail Hallifax, 2 grandchildren, John, Ryan, 3 great grandchildren, Za'Kyla, Ryan Jr., & Elyjah. John was predeceased by his beloved pet, Sandy.
Visitation will be held on Thursday September 9th from 4-6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with services at 6pm.
