John W. Schapley

John W. Schapley, 66, of Syracuse, passed away October 5, 2021. John was born in Syracuse, NY on January 12, 1955 to John and Genevieve (Ontano) Schapley. In his free time, he enjoyed playing cards. John was of the Catholic faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, John D. Schapley.

John is survived by his three brothers, Michael (Donna), Dennis, and Christopher (Karen) Schapley; four nieces, Tammy (Michael) Kraushaar, Tina Culpepper, Madison Schapley, Samantha Schapley; and two nephews, Logan and John Schapley.

Calling hours will be held on October 16, 2021 from 10AM-12PM at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, with a service to follow, Deacon Nick Alvaro officiating. Memorial contributions in John's name may be made to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave Dallas, TX 75231.
