John R. Ziemer, 58, of Syracuse, New York died Monday, December 5, 2011 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse.
John was an engineer with Union Pacific Railroad.
Surviving are his wife , Patricia Cox Ziemer; sons, Kyle and Jonathon (Lisa) Ziemer both of Cheyenne, WY; step-sons, Philip and Kevin Cox both of Syracuse; sisters, Linda (Richard) Robson of Marcellus and Jacqueline (C. William) Seebaum of Cheyenne; grandchildren, Tyson and Aubrey; aunt, Patricia Cox; cousins, Robert Cox and Deborah McLellan; several nieces and nephews.
Services and burial will be private. There will be no calling hours.
