John R. Thompson, 83, of Liverpool, passed away on Monday at Iroquois Nursing Home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on October 21, 1932, in New York City, New York. He was a Korean War Veteran serving in the Air Force.

On June 10th, 1955 he married Dolores Albany, and they lived in Syracuse, New York where they raised their family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores Thompson and mother, Tekla Mroczka.

John is survived by his two daughters, Deborah J. (William) Ukrainec, Diane (James) Wallace; two sons, Anthony F. (Margaret) Thompson, Robert (Gretchen) Thompson; ten Grandchildren, Tanya, Amanda, Tess, Sean, Seth, Rose, Chad, Shane, Regan, Luke; a great grandchild, Grayson.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main Street, N. Syracuse.

Services will follow at 7PM.

Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Iroquois Nursing Home.
