John R. "Jack" Kirkpatrick

John R. "Jack" Kirkpatrick, 64, of Liverpool, passed away on Wednesday at home surrounded by family. He retired from the Jamesville Correctional Facility after 26 years as a Sergeant. He enjoyed going to the OTB and the casino. He loved spending time in his pool. He is predeceased by his father, Thomas Kirkpatrick; stepfather, Donald Basler; mother, Elsie Basler; a brother, James Kirkpatrick; and a niece, Tammy Kirkpatrick.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Kalene; daughters, Kim Kirkpatrick, Sherry (Pete) Lando, Jelene Kirkpatrick, Tamika (Heck) Kratzer; another "daughter", Eliesha "Blondie" Butler; brothers, Jerry (Mary) Kirkpatrick, Timothy (Diane) Kirkpatrick; sister-in-law, Helen Kirkpatrick; father-in-law, Charles (Theresa) Charland; mother-in-law, Marie Niles; special cousin, Kathy Ann Saumier; 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and his companions Gizmo and Pablo.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday 2-4 and 6-8PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. A service will follow at 8PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of CNY, 990 7th North St., Liverpool, NY 13088 in the name of John Kirkpatrick.
