John P. Wilson, 80 of Kirkville died Monday at Crouse Hospital. "Jack" retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1969 following 22 years of service as an aircraft mechanic. He also retired from Associated Spring. He enjoyed his fishing camp in Canada, reading and was an avid hockey fan. He was a member of the Moose Club and VFW. He was predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Jean Hammond Wilson; two brothers, Del Julian and Robert Wilson.
Surviving are two brothers, Larry of Fulton and Glenn D. Wilson of N. Syracuse; a sister, Grace Johnson of Baldwinsville; several nieces and nephews.
Services and burial in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
