John A. Orioli

John A. Orioli, 64, of Solvay, passed away peacefully at Francis House on Saturday morning. He was a hardworking, loving family man and devoted husband and friend. John was a lifelong resident of Solvay, NY. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching the NY Yankees. Most of all, John enjoyed being in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family and his dog, Honi.

He was predeceased by his parents, Mary and Emory Orioli; 3 brothers, Anthony, James and Matthew Orioli and nephew, Michael Orioli.

John is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Cynthia; children, Andrea (Michael Diglio) Orioli and Jonathon Orioli; sister, Bernadine (Frank) Testa; sisters-in-law, Jeanne Orioli, Judy Orioli and Patti Fanelli and many nieces, nephews and Godchildren.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals in N. Syracuse. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, 9:30am at St. Marianne Cope Parish at St. Cecilia Church in Solvay with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Francis House.
