John Michael O'Connor

John M. O'Connor of Clay NY passed away peacefully on Tuesday February 7th.
He was born on June 16, 1933 in Syracuse NY.
John was a graduate of CBA and Syracuse University (aeronautical engineering).
His professional career included projects at Bell Helicopter as well Wright Patterson Air Force Base (engineering lab) as an officer in the US Air Force.
John was a lifelong speed skater and enjoyed spending summers on Oneida Lake and in the Adirondacks.
John is preceded by his youngest son Scott and is survived by sons Michael (Elizabeth) of Cicero, NY, Patrick (Heidi) of Bedford, VA, John of Milford, DE and Mark (Tricia) of Manlius, NY.
Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday at 9:30am, Sacred Heart Church, 8221 Brewerton Rd., Cicero NY
Contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Alzheimer's Association (Alz.org.home)
