John Nisiewicz

John M. Nisiewicz, 77, of North Syracuse, passed away after a short illness on January 3, 2022.

John was born in Utica, New York on October 20, 1944 to the late John and Mary Nisiewicz.

A U.S. Air Force Veteran, John retired from the VA Medical Center after 35 years as an Operations Foreman. In his free time, John was an avid golfer and dog sitter. Summers were spent with his extended family at Raquette Lake.

He is survived by his Daughters, Rebecca (Jeremy Allen) Cizenski and Priscilla A. Nisiewicz; Sisters in law, Diane (William) James and Kathy Nisiewicz; Nieces, Julie and Tracy; Nephew, Joe; As well as 4 grand dogs.

John was also predeceased by his wife Priscilla B. (Benson) Nisiewicz and a brother Joseph F. Nisiewicz.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, January 15th, 2022 from 12-2 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse. A service will follow at 2 PM. Burial to take place in the spring.
