John David Mura

John "Dave" David Mura 82 passed away on June 11, 2023. He was born on June 1, 1941. He retired from Niagara Mohawk/National Grid after 35 years.

He retired from the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve as a Chief Warrant Officer (CW04) "Marine Gunner" after 35 years of service.

Dave was a life member of the Brewerton Fire Department.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary; children, John (Marian), John David Jr. (Curry) and Sandra D'Agostino (Tony); siblings, Bonnie Cox (Don), Amy Connors (Dennis) and Skip (Lyn); 6 grandchildren, Matthew, Sophia, Jack, Caroline, John David III, Andrew and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals on Friday, June 16, 2023 from 4-7pm. A Mass will take place on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 9:30am Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Cicero, NY. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Brewerton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brewerton Fire Department.
