John Edward Milne

John Edward Milne, 86, of Liverpool, passed away December 6, 2017.

John was born in Boston, Massachusetts on November 20, 1931 to the late Thomas and Marjorie Milne. John worked at Diebold for many years. He was in the U.S. Coast Guard for 3 years. He played in the Salvation Army band. He loved to spend his summers at Old Orchard's Beach in Maine. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his son, John "Jack" Milne, Jr. and brother, Thomas Milne.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Barbara C. Milne; three Daughters, Deborah J. (Daniel) Miller, Cynthia G. (Medi) Servattalab, Karyn A. (Timothy) Kirwan; son, Robert B. Milne and partner Becki Whewell; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Visitation will take place on Sunday from 1:00-4:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse, where funeral services will be held Monday at 10:00 am. Burial will follow services in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay.

Memorial contributions may be made to John's church at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Liverpool.
