John Mario Emmi, 79, of North Syracuse passed away Sunday. Born in Sullivan, He was a Veteran of the Army. He retired from Carrier Corp. with 33 yrs. of service and then worked 11 yrs. with Wal Mart, East Syracuse. He was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima and an avid fisherman. He is predeceased by his wife, Nina Ann Emmi, 2007.
He is survived by daughter; Maria (Dale) Emmi Sheridan, sons; John (Cindy) Emmi, Robert (Monica) Emmi and two grandchildren; Alexandra and Jake.
Services will be held on Friday, 10 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church. Burial will follow in the North Syracuse Cemetery. Calling Hours will be on Thursday from 4-7 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, North Syracuse.
Contributions may be made to the Francis House, 108 Michaels Ave., Syr, NY 13208.
