John R. Lundy, age 93, of East Syracuse, passed away on Thursday at Bishop Rehabilitation in Syracuse. He was born in Ball Mills, PA on June 28, 1926 son of the late John and Helen Lundy. John served in the US Army during WW II.
John retired from B.G. Sulzle in Syracuse. John enjoyed fishing, he was a Penn State Football fan, a Steelers fan and he loved the NY Yankees. John always enjoyed talking with family and friends. He will be dearly missed.
John is survived by his daughters, Ruth Lundy, Char Lundy, son, John (Lisa) Lundy, Jr., 2 step-sons, Thomas (Tammy) Ballard, Richard Ballard, 7 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, along with nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Angeline, his parents, 6 sisters and one brother.
Services will be private.
Burial will take place at Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery.
