John Francis Lowery

John Francis Lowery, 76 of Clay, NY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 29th, 2023. Born in Syracuse, NY on June 24th, 1946 to the late John and Catherine Lowery.
He worked for the DPW of Syracuse for 31 years. John loved watching and attending Syracuse sports, the Buffalo Bills and the New York Yankees. He was a member of AA and truly believed in the program.
John is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Irene; children, William (Nancy) Montague, Robert (Michelle) Montague, Fran Chaffee and Christine (David) Reith; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; sibling, Suzanne (Robert) Pray and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by his brother, George Lowery.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, NY on Monday, May 8th, 2023 from 4-6pm. Funeral service will follow at 6pm.
