John Paul Livingston, 87, of Liverpool, passed away Thursday. Born in Syracuse and a veteran of the US Army, John was a graduate of Syracuse University where he received a BA in Business Management. He worked as the Resource Director with Onondaga County Department of Social Services until his retirement in 1986. John had a passion for gardening, golf and he was an avid bridge player.

He is survived by three sons; Douglas (Michelle) Livingston, Philip Livingston and Paul (Judy) Livingston, two daughters; Janet (David) Livingston and Susan (Dan) Woodworth, grandchildren; Megan, Jordan, Allison, Jared, Jacob, Molly, Matt and Emily.

Services will be held on Sunday at 5 PM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Spring burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Fabius. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Sunday from 2-5 PM, at the funeral home, 705 N Main St..

Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made in the form of living plants and/or to the Indian School of North Dakota.
