John Lee Haney Mosley

John was born on August 27, 1942 in Memphis, Tennessee to the union of Clara V. Lindsey and the late James Mosley. John was very well loved in the community, well respected by the youths in the area and was a man who loved God. John enjoyed family gatherings, was full of life and loved by all who knew him. He enjoyed working the grill, giving to all whom was less fortunate and always thinking of himself last. John was a giving soul and always had time for others. What he left on earth will be hard to match. John is predeceased by his stepfather Lurie F. Lindsey Sr., brother, Lurie F. Lindsey Jr. and a son, Fred B. Mosley.
He is survived by his loving wife Terry Mosley, his mother; Clara V. Lindsey, daughters; Alpha, Omega, Suprna, Marie, Sharon (John) Jenkins and Isophine, sons; John Lee Jr., John Hadrin, Robert, Michael, Lavar, Sean, Shireff, David, John John and Sammy, brothers; Clarence (Elizabeth) Lindsey, Dennis Lindsey, both of Ohio, sisters; Belma (Joseph) Atkins,Thelma (Johnathan) Cooper, both of Ohio, mother-in-law; Geraldine Tucker, brother-in-laws; Tom (Roxy) Parks, David Parks, Joseph (Leslie) Parks, sister-in-laws; Deborah Parks, Katherine Parks, 25 grandchildren, 8 god children, special friends; Brother Leon Lyles, Buzzie, Brother Johnson and a host of relatives and friends.
Services will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM at the Church of Christ, 1327 W. Colvin St, Syracuse. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery, Mansfield, Ohio. The family will greet friends before the service from 10-11 AM at the church. Repast will follow the services.
