John L. "Jack" Eberl

John L. "Jack" Eberl, 80, of Liverpool, died Monday at home surrounded by his family after a long battle with cancer. Jack was born in St. Mary's, PA and resided in Liverpool for the past 44 years. He attended Penn State University and was a Veteran of the Korean War serving in the Air Force. He retired from Unisys Corporation. Jack was a parishioner of Christ the King Church and will be remembered as a man who was devoted to his family and faith.
Jack is survived by his wife of 50 years, Peggy; five sons, Steven (Mary), John (Gail), Michael, Gregory (Dawn) and Matthew (Laurel); 11 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and special family members, Debbie Ritter and Barbara Helferty. A special thanks to Hospice of CNY for their outstanding care and support, especially caregiver, Belma.
Services will be Friday 10 a.m. at Christ the King Church, Liverpool. A calling hour will be Friday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.at the church before the services. Burial will be private.
