John L. King, 73, of Liverpool, passed away on Wednesday, February 10th at his home.
John was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania on October 9, 1947, son of the late Martin and Theresa King. He served with the US Army during Vietnam in the 101st Airborne Division. After retiring from GE, John attended and graduated from Syracuse University in 1991 with a degree in industrial design.
He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth E. (Christopher) Schoolcraft; grandson, Connor J. Schoolcraft; brother, Joseph (Darlene) King; sister, Nancy; former spouses, Christine King & Mitzi Lynch.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 15th from 2-4pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 North Main, North Syracuse, with services at 4pm with military honors.
Donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans (DAV) or to Alcoholics Anonymous.
