John A. Jensen, 71, of Clay, NY passed away unexpectedly Monday, Oct. 9th, 2023 with his wife by his side.
John was born in Troy, NY on May 27th, 1952. He was predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Elizabeth Jensen, a brother William Jensen and sisters Elizabeth Winchell and Margaret Schmidt.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Patricia; sisters Mary Macey and Patricia Van Loan and several nieces and nephews.
John graduated from Lansingburgh High School and Hudson Valley Community College.
He met his wife, Patricia in 1970 and they married in 1977. They did not have any children.
They both were employed by Cardinal Health and were relocated to Clay in 1989 when the facility in Albany closed. John worked as an operations manager for Cardinal Health, Inc. for 37 years and retired in 2008.
John loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing, hiking and gardening with his wife. He was also a photographer and had a studio in his home.
Per John's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.
