John J. Woznicki, 96, of Syracuse's Northside, passed away Friday. Born in Syracuse, he worked for Kilian Manufacturing, retiring after 35 years. John is predeceased by his wife, Ialene C. and sister, Genevieve Hauff.
He is survived by his son, William J. (Catherine) Woznicki of Rochester; his daughter, Janice (Carmen) LaRose of Liverpool; four grandchildren, Katrina, Gregory, Karye Ann and Matthew; four great grandchildren; a sister, Helen DeSimone; a brother, Martin Woznicki; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Tuesday, 10:30 AM at St. John the Baptist Church, Syracuse, NY. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery. There will be no Calling Hours.
John's family greatly appreciates the care afforded him in his last hours by the staff at James Square.
