John J. Mazzuca, 23, passed away on Tuesday at his home. He was the son of Frank Mazzuca and Kathleen Gardynski. John was a disc jockey and was known as Tsunami. He enjoyed snowboarding, reading, music and playing cards. John was known for making people laugh and encouraging others. He was the light in the room and he will be missed.
Surviving are his father, Frank (Karen) Mazzuca, mother, Kathleen (John) Gardynski, brothers Connor Mazzuca, Paul Chenevert, 4 sisters: Darcie Chenevert, Chelanie Chenevert, Brandie Murphy & Jennifer DeFio, along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4-8pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse. Graveside services will be held on Saturday 10am at , South Bay Rd.
Contributions may be made to Commonwealth Place 6010 East Molloy Rd. Syracuse 13211.
