John J. Martin, April 20, 2015, 83, formally of Central Sq. passed peacefully. He was born on June 5th 1931 in Fort Covington, NY. Served in the Army 1952-1954. Owner/Operation of Martin Oil Service. Retired from Haz-O-Waste of Wampsville. Predeceased are his Wife, Joan, Son Wayne, and Daughter Marie. Also; Three sisters; Delia, Amelia, and Marie.
Survived are his children; Cathy (Bob) Turcott & Michael (Peggy) Martin of SC, Susan (Carney) Roberson of NC, Thomas Martin, Linda (Tom) Currier, Ila Neadle, Brother Robert Martin and Sister Bertha Martin all from NY, 14 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial Services will be held on June 26 @ 11am at Lighthouse Church of God, 11 South Jefferson St. Mexico, NY. Burial on June 27 at 11am in Belle Isle Cemetery, Vanburen Rd, Camillus, NY.
