John P. Hoey

December 4, 1951 — February 9, 2019

John Hoey Sr., 67, of Hannibal, passed away on Saturday with loving family by his side.

He was born in Oswego on December 4, 1951, son of Raymond and Doris Hoey.

John was a painter at Local 38 in Oswego.

Jack was a well known drummer in the area, and was a Triple A Billiards Player. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle. Most of all, he loved his grandchildren.

John is survived by his sons, Jason Hoey, Justin Hoey, Jerrad M. Hoey, John (Teresa Bennett) Hoey, Jr., former wife, Sharon Hoey, grandchildren, Alexandria, Jaide, Jordan, Madison, Jamin, Michael, Trenton, great grandson Jace, brothers, James Hoey, Donald Hoey, sisters, Judith Roe and June Hall, along with nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his sister, Sandy Harrington.

Visitation will he held on Friday, February 15th from 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 North Main, N. Syracuse, with services to follow
