John W. Haney

John W. Haney, 71, of Clay, went home to be with the Lord on September 28, 2024. 

John was born in Syracuse, New York on December 26, 1952. 

A graduate of West Genesee High School, John went on to work at Rockwell then eventually Carrier Corporation before retiring in 2004. 

In his younger years, John loved to go camping, ride on his motorcycles, and have bonfires. Remember John as someone who loved his grandchildren with all that he was, a lover of the NY Yankees, Christmas, and having the windows open on a beautiful day. 

He was predeceased by his wife, Joanne Haney and his mother, Beatrice Haney. 

He is survived by his daughter, Leah (Nicholas) Dicesare; grandson, Andrew; granddaughter, Eleanor; as well as many Siblings, Nieces and Nephews.

There will be no services per John’s request but think of him the next time you have a cup of coffee or a whiskey neat.
