John R. Gleason, 36, of North Syracuse passed away Monday. Born in Syracuse, John was a Teacher at Levy Middle School in Syracuse. He is predeceased by his father, John L. Gleason.
He is survived by his mother; Geraldine (Roe) Gleason, five brothers; Timothy, Michael, Shawn, Scott and Patrick Gleason, six sisters; Teri Hill, Colleen DeOrdio, Kelly Vega, Patricia Gleason, Vicky Caselas and Kathleen Glazier, 14 nieces and 8 nephews.
Friends are invited to visit with the family on Thursday from 4-7 PM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, 705 N Main St., North Syracuse. Services will be private. Burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery.
Contributions in John's memory may be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
