John "Tom" Gleason, 85, of Fulton, passed away October 16, 2023.
Tom was born in Syracuse, New York on July 26, 1938 to the late George and Jane Gleason. He served in the US Navy. Tom owned and operated Tru-Temp Controls in Lakeland, FL before retiring. He moved back to Central, NY in March of 2023. He was an avid hunter and loved spending time with his family.
He was predeceased by his son, John Gleason, II; and a brother, Michael Gleason.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ira (Ten Eyck) Gleason; two daughters, Elizabeth (Guy) Gleason-Noelle, Bonnie Cocca; daughter in law, Mary Gleason; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom he loved dearly. A private celebration of life will be held by his family.
