John F. Fischer, Sr.

John F. Fischer, Sr., 82, formerly of Cleveland, NY, passed away on Sunday morning surrounded by his family.
He was born in Watertown, NY to the late John and Frances Fischer. John graduated from Paul V. Moore High School in Central Square. He then went onto work for General Motors for 28 years. John served in the United States Army Reserves. He was an avid outdoorsman; he especially enjoyed hunting and fly fishing.
John was predeceased by his brother, Robert Fischer of California.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Rita (Bourgeois); children, William (Carol) Brown, John F. (Carol) Fischer, Jr., Pauly Rita Fern (Kerstin) Bourgeois, Christopher (Darlene) Fischer, David (Kelly) Brown, Mark Brown; grandchildren, Sheila, Corey, Cody, Matthew, Erica, Alisha, Stephanie and Justice; several great-grandchildren; niece, Amber and nephews, Jeremy and Jonathan.
