John F. Farmer, 74, of Hastings passed away on Wednesday at his home.
He was born on February 20, 1941 the son of Florence Boland.
He worked several years for Gary Norris Cable Construction.
He was an avid hunter and enjoyed the outdoors. John also in his early years liked to race cars at local dirt tracks.
Surviving are his brothers; Charles E. Boland, Thomas Boland and his sister Kathy Houde, along with his good friend, William O'Donnell.
Calling hour will be held on Thursday from 10-11am at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
